Hello! I work as an Executive Editor in the Computer Science team at
Springer. This webpage summarizes my academic activities.

I have a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Trento, Italy (2009) and an MS degree with distinction in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Belarusian State University, Minsk, Belarus (2002). My research interests include science 2.0 (improving the way science works), Linked Open Data (LOD), machine learning, semantic web, patterns. I have previously worked on culture- and community-aware recommendation systems, data mining, multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence, compliance management, service-oriented computing, queuing systems.
I was a PC member and the Focus Group chair for EuroPLoP 2011, PC member for EuroPLoP 2012, served as a PC member for several international workshops, and reviewed papers for several journals (Scientometrics, IEEE Software, Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience, JAAMAS, IEEE TKDE, DKE, IJAOSE, IP&M, New Generation Computing) and a number of conferences (including AAMAS, CAISE, ICCBR, ICSOC).

I also have professional experience in managing research/industrial projects, software development and banking. Before starting my PhD, for almost four years I have been working in industry and my projects were successfully deployed in several Belarusian banks. Since then, I have always been involved in IT project management/consultancy at various levels.
